As a patrol provider, our openings are infrequent and allow us the luxury of evaluating many applicants per single position - a luxury very rare in this industry. Our team of protection specialists is comprised of professionals with backgrounds in law enforcement, corrections, military services, fugitive recovery, and related industries. JOB TITLE/DESCRIPTION: Patrol Officer, Entry-Level

PROBATIONARY PERIOD: 3-6 Months, Based on Training & Performance

COMPENSATION: $10-$12/Entry-Level, $12-$18/Promotional Scale

Minimum Qualifications:
 

• Proof of Citizenship or Legal Right to Remain and Work in the U.S.
• 3Years as a Licensed Driver
• No Criminal Record
• Pass Drug-Screening
• Pass State/Federal Background
• Pass Pre-Employment Background
• Possess a Clean DMV (3 Year History)
• Possess Valid California Guard Card 40 Hours BSIS Approved Professional Security Training

Required Skills:

• Type 25 Words Per Minute
• Basic Computer Skills/Windows Familiarity/Internet Familiarity
• Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Strong Command Presence/Tactical Communication Skills

Probationary/Training Period:

New hires will remain at their entry level wage without consideration for advancement until the completion of the Paladin Private Security in-house training program, as well as the acquisition of the following licenses/permits:

• California Firearms Training and State Issued Permit
• California Baton Training and State Issued Permit
• California POST Approved Certification for Chemical Weapons
• California POST Approved Certification for Stun Gun Weapons
• First Aid/C.P.R./A.E.D. Certification from Competent Authority
