Paladin's Vice-President, Matt Carroll, maintains instructor certifications through the Sacramento-Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross. Class sizes are limited to 10 students per session and can be conducted at your place of business for added convenience. Courses can be tailored to your specific needs and can include any, or all, of the following topics: RESPONDING TO EMERGENCIES All courses include training on recognizing, reporting and safely responding to emergencies in the community or the workplace. STANDARD FIRST AID Includes first responder procedures for lacerations, broken bones, sudden illness, heat exhaustion/stroke, hypothermia and more. Certification received is valid for 3 years and can be recertified through any American Red Cross instructor/location. C.P.R. Includes first responder procedures for adults, children and infants experiencing cardiac emergencies. Certification is valid for 1 year and can be recertified through any American Red Cross instructor/location. A.E.D. Includes first responder procedures for using typical Artificial External Defibrillator devices on victims of cardiac emergencies. Certification is valid for 1 year and can be recertified through any American Red Cross instructor/location. INJURY PREVENTION MODULES The American Red Cross has developed a series of 1-hour courses designed to assist employers (or other safety conscious individuals and organizations) in minimizing workplace injuries that risk their personnel, insurance costs and overall productivity.
