Louis Aljens
(CEO/CFO)
Louis has worked in the local security industry since 1992 following
achievement of his B.S. degree in Criminal Justice (Sacramento State
University ) and an extensive internship with the West Sacramento Police
Department. Louis has been involved in the local security industry for
over 11 years and brings years of customer service experience to
Paladin. Louis, a member of ASIS International (The American Society for
Industrial Security) is beyond reproach in his customer service skills.

Scott Johnson
(Vice-President)
Scott Johnson holds a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior
from the University of California at Davis. Through his years of service
as a former Police Officer with the City of Davis and the
Sacramento-Yolo Port Authority, Scott holds many law enforcement
certifications including a P.O.S.T. certificate (Peace Officer Standards
and Training), advanced arrest control/baton and advanced tactical
communication. Scott has also received extensive training in swift water
rescue through the California Department of Fish and Game, search and
rescue SCUBA, and advanced SCUBA. Scott’s training and tactical
communication expertise have proven to be incredible assets to his
former employers in the local security industry and are instrumental in
the proper training of the personnel who will be assigned to your
protection needs.

Matt Carroll
(Vice-President)
Matt Carroll holds both an A.A. in the Administration of Justice (Shasta
College) and a B.S. in Criminal Justice (Sacramento State University,
Cum Laude). Through his years of service as a Police Officer with the
Sacramento-Yolo Port District, Matt has acquired a number of training
certifications that he brings to the Paladin team members. Matt
instructs for the American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR and AED and is
also a certified instructor in Tactical Communication (Verbal Judo
Institute ) and in the use of Taser Weapons (Taser International). Other
areas of certification include Rape Crisis Intervention Counseling,
Juvenile Delinquency Counseling, HAZMAT response, terrorism awareness,
narcotics expertise and a P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards and
Training) certificate through the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Training
Academy.
